Business Training for Respite Care Providers Salisbury: April 22 & 29 Together with the Alzheimer's Association, MCE will provide this two-part training program to focus on developing small businesses that provide respite services and care for individuals with Alzheimer's Disease or related memory impairments. This workshop will include information on: developing business and marketing plans, acquiring loans, getting State licensing, building basic financial and accounting skills, comprehensive legal issues, and understanding the process of starting and managing a respite care business. Financial Literacy Workshop Salisbury: April 1 & 8 Financial Fitness Salisbury: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 In conjunction with Salisbury Neighborhood Housing, this five session course will include orientation and making spending choices, budgeting and planning your year, understanding credit and handling credit problems, building consumer skills, checking accounts and predatory lending. The 8 Week: How to Start and Manage Your Business Spring 2004 - Salisbury University, Salisbury In partnership with the Small Business Development Center and Wor-Wic Community College, this 8 week course offers a different professional each week to discuss important components of starting and running a small business. Topics include: business plan writing, legal issues, insurance needs, marketing, financing/banking, accounting and bookkeeping, personnel and resources partners.
