Why Join the Wicomico Historical Society?

To Learn -- we offer a variety of educational opportunities through our interpretive exhibits and heritage tours suitable for adults and children.

To Network -- we sponsor a number of special fundraising events throughout the year such as Christmas At Pemberton Park and new this spring, "Let’s Talk Antiques and Collectibles with Ray Mansfield". Attending such functions in a casual atmosphere offer opportunities to get to know others with similar interests.

To Volunteer -- is FUN and provides a resource for developing new and marketable skills.

To support our mission -- WHS fosters a greater knowledge and appreciation of the history of Wicomico County by encouraging research. We provide educational programs and collect and preserve items of significant historical value. WHS maintains museum facilities which will stimulate and enrich the lives of residents and visitors to the Lower Eastern Shore.
