Research Grants

In cooperation with Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), MHC works with the Federal SBIR Program to expand small companies' access to federal R&D dollars. SBIR grants come in two phases:
  • Phase I awards of up to $75,000 to support preliminary research


  • Phase II grants of up to $750,000 to propel promising Phase I projects into prototype development
Other types of Federal grant assistance are also available.
